How it works

Getting a will sorted through Legal Wills Direct takes three steps. Most people go from first enquiry to signed will in about two weeks.

1. Tell us what you need (2 minutes)

Fill in our short quote form. We ask about you, your family situation, and roughly what you own. There are no trick questions and nothing you answer here commits you to anything.

2. We match you with a will writer

We pass your details to an experienced, insured will writer who covers your area. They will contact you directly – usually within one working day – for a free, no-obligation chat about what you need.

3. Your will gets written

Your will writer talks you through your options in plain English and agrees a fixed price with you before any work starts. They draft your will, you check it, and they make sure it is signed and witnessed properly so it is legally valid in England and Wales.

What it costs

Most straightforward single wills cost between £90 and £150, and mirror wills for couples between £150 and £250.
